With everything going on in the world right now, we understand the last thing you have time to worry about is training your team on new technology. Every moment is precious and it is more important than ever to provide solutions to your medical staff, clinicians, IT departments and partners that will give them back life-saving time to efficiently perform their jobs.

Salesforce Health Cloud is working hard to do their part in the fight against COVID-19. One way they’re assisting is through the release of the Theon Care Management Package. The Theon Care Management package platform is enabling medical professionals to leverage the newest technologies like AI to help predict outbreak areas, get a complete overview of a patient’s health history to determine risk factors and make recommendations about treatment courses for both mild and severe cases.

Spekit is proud to do our part in helping you get up to speed on Theon Care Management package, as quickly as possible. Let’s take a quick look at how you can leverage Spekit to onboard and train your team in the Theon Care Management package.

What is Spekit?

Spekit is an in-app learning and digital companion that helps employees learn their tools and navigate process changes by accessing answers and enablement resources in real-time, everywhere they work.

Built by sales ops professionals for growing and remote teams both in offices and out in the field, Spekit blends modern digital adoption with the simplicity of a contextual knowledge base for a lightweight yet powerful solution. This means less time getting your employees and workers up to speed and more time spent on the front lines of customer care.

How does it help you get started in the Theon Care Management package? Let’s break it down by each key benefit.

1) Theon Care Management out-of-the-box documentation gets you up and running in minutes

Let’s start with the big one, documentation. What channels are you currently using to educate your team on new tools? Powerpoint? Word? Excel? Email? Creating training takes time and resources away from where you need them. Building documentation in old systems, frankly, won’t cut it when you have limited time, resources and a remote team. You need a training solution that’s flexible, scalable, easy to manage and collaborate.

If you are just implementing Covid-19 Response Package, you’re likely training your team on using a Salesforce solution for the very first time. To help you get started, we’ve created a “Covid-19 Response Package Getting Started” content template with all of the basics your team needs to be up and running with Covid-19 Response Package including tips, videos and the fundamentals of the platform.

Once installed, you can customize this training to meet your specific business needs and surface the training directly within Covid-19 Response Package to help guide your team in the moment questions arise.

Here’s how Spekit helps:

  1. If you're a customer, you’ll see the Covid-19 Response Package topic appear and you can click to install.
  2. Next, click into any of the content cards or “Speks” to quickly update and customize the content. Feel free to add images, slides or videos to help your team along the way.
  3. At any time, you can assign Subject Matter Experts to manage new content as questions come up from your end-users when learning the platform. This allows you to easily work with the appropriate people to understand pain points and deliver the most effective training quickly.

Lastly, your documentation will automatically appear in the application with “visual indicators” (add spek icon screenshot) that your team can hover over to get answers or via a quick search in the Spekit Chrome Extension in any window.

If you don’t have Chrome, don’t worry. You can also provide help to your users using our Spekit Lightning Component . Our component can be installed in the Salesforce Utility Bar or embedded directly within the platform so that your team can search for answers to their question across any browser.

In a few quick and easy steps, you were able to get Covid-19 Response Package up and running so you can arm your medical staff, clinicians, IT departments, insurance providers and all involved stakeholders with the critical tools they need to combat this crisis.

2) Real-time training that’s accessible and easy to consume

Your team can access the new Theon Care Management package training you’ve created in multiple ways:

  • Through the Spekit app as an online learning course
  • Through the Spekit Chrome Extension where all content is easily searchable directly within the Theon Care Management package
  • By hovering over any defined definitions, fields, objects and picklist values in the Theon Care Management package
  • In the Spekit Lightning Component (if installed)

You can add new training at any time by selecting the “Create+” button in the Chrome Extension or through the Spekit application itself.

Very quickly, you have a new Salesforce solution that is up and running, your users are trained and it’s actually providing some relief to your efficiency needs.

3) Communicate updates and changes in real-time through notifications and email alerts

Getting the Theon Care Management package up and running is a great start. But, what happens as training evolves, changes are made or new processes introduced? You need an easy way to communicate these changes to your team in real-time so they’re always working with up-to-date resources.

Spekit gives you the ability to communicate change when and where it happens. When a new piece of content is introduced or a change is made to existing training, you can simply select the “notify team” option and/or include the “email” checkbox to instantly notify your team of changes.

When talking about the importance of communicating change, especially right now, Dustin Bystrom of Minnesota Associate Council for Veterans said, “As a statewide nonprofit (MAC-V), Spekit has quickly become an essential tool to quickly and efficiently disseminate needed information to our staff located in various offices around the state. Given the current global health situation that requires our team to transition to a remote work, Spekit has enabled us to get information to our staff rapidly where they need it most, and with circumstances and information changing at a breakneck pace the application has allowed for easy editing and notifications as guidance has changed.

The application is user friendly and easy to use allowing for us to crowdsource content and utilize the unique knowledge and skills of our colleagues without having to spend precious time troubleshooting and reviewing content. It’s fair to say that without a tool like Spekit our agency’s ability to continue to carry out our mission would be hampered by confusion and obsolete guidance which Spekit helps us avoid.”

What about when new content is added? It will automatically populate in Covid-19 Response Package beside the updated terms or picklists and appear as a notification in the Spekit Chrome Extension. This eliminates the need to exit Covid-19 Response Package to track down answers and ensures everyone is always working from the most recent content.

Spekit and the Thoen Care Management Package

Spekit takes away the stress of implementing and learning a new tool. You can feel assured that your time is being well spent where it needs to be and your Theon Care Management package users are being empowered to do their jobs to the best of their ability.

We are proud to be able to support the efforts of the medical community and the Theon Care Management package users while doing our part in fighting this novel virus affecting us all.
