Click “Connect to your Salesforce org” in the banner. After signing up, you’ll land in the Spekit playbox with a purple banner. Click on “Connect your Salesforce org.”
Check for permissions. Check your Salesforce profile to make sure you the required permissions to connect to Spekit.
Click connect a production org. After verifying that you have the permissions needed to connect, check the checkbox to confirm this. Click Connect a production org to connect your Spekit account to Salesforce. You can choose to connect to a Salesforce sandbox org to see how it works.
Login to Salesforce. You’ll be redirected to Salesforce to login. Enter your Salesforce user id and password and click Log In. You’ll be asked to allow access to Spekit.
3. Import Salesforce objects
Select and import objects to document
After you’ve logged into Salesforce, you’ll be taken to the Manage Objects page,
Select one or two objects to import as shown below. You can always import more later.
After making your selection, click on Import Selected Objects.
Wait up to 10 minutes for the import to complete. Larger orgs will take longer. Once the objects are imported, you’ll be redirected to the Data Wiki
You’ll see this confirmation once the install is complete.
Click on the Spekit icon and log in to Spekit. You will see a Spekit icon added to your toolbar. Click on this icon to open the Spekit chrome extension as shown below. Click Login to Spekit and log in using your email or with Salesforce.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll see the “Starred terms” screen and can start using the chrome extension.

In Salesforce, you will now see the Spekit help icon next to any defined object, field or picklist value.
